Notes from the office relocation, 76

I can’t see any space vehicles, Chain Lightning, or top secret microwaves
When I get off the bus in the morning
By the defunct air force base and swampy ribbon of high tech buildings,

( I want to call everything “the Don Draper Labs” and from there,
“The Don Draper Black Labs” etc.)

It is take your daughter to work day on the Mayan calendar,
The days when chocolate éclairs, Mac SEs, and a Herman Miller Aeron chair
Were smuggled home by an unhinged software engineer,

This is how I learned that all these things existed, especially swamps.
